Liposuction is a surgical procedure performed to improve body contour by removing stubborn fat deposits that cannot be eliminated through diet or exercise. It works by vacuum-assisted extraction of excess fat tissue from targeted areas of the body.
Liposuction is performed in a fully equipped hospital under general anesthesia and typically takes 1 to 3 hours. After the procedure, the patient is usually required to stay in the hospital for one night, although this may be extended to two nights depending on the patient’s condition.
